The Sony Digital8® Handycam® DCR-TRV480E Digital-8 Digital Camcorder helps you maintain clearer images with the help of the Steady Shot picture stabilization system. You can choose from several different shooting modes so you can shoot in just about every situation The modes are: Portrait, Sports, Spotlight, Beach and Ski, Landscape, Sunset and Moon modes. The Digital8 recording format delivers 3X the color bandwidth of VHS with significantly less video noise providing stunning video performance. The 20X Optical/990X Digital Zoom helps to bring the action close up from far away. This camcorder provides great detail and clarity along with outstanding digital video performance with the help of 1/6" CCD Imager and the 290K (effective) pixels. “The Handycam is very easy to use and we thought the audio and video during playback was remarkable and we like all the features.”
