The Sony Handycam DCR-HC42 Mini DV Digital Camcorder gives you stunning details with 1-megapixel resolution, and it deliver up to 520 lines of resolution that gives you outstanding pictures with incredible clarity. With the HC42 you can get vivid images and true-to-life color saturation with the Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar® lens. This LCD screen rotates up to 270 degrees for easy viewing and the touch-panel screen gives you access to the menu easily while shooting. You can hone details and get up close pictures with the 12x optical zoom and other zoom features. I can easily take great looking picture without blur imagines with the super stabilizer system. The Handycam® Station makes downloading video and images to a computer, viewing video and images on a TV very easy. It also has different program modes to help with any kind of outdoor or indoor picture you want. You can also add special effects while recording or during playback and make your movies stand out and take notice with the picture effect feature. “ I find this camcorder to be a part of this family. It works great for taking memory shots that last a lifetime.”
