The Hewlett Packard Photosmart M517 Digital Camera is very good for a starter camera. Features: 5.0-megapixel CCD captures enough detail for photo-quality 13 x 17-inch prints, 2.0-inch LCD; 3x optical zoom, 32MB of internal memory. You can edit on a PC using included HP Image Zone software; e-mail photos (without attachments) using HP Instant Share. Plus it stores images on SD memory cards; powered by AA-size batteries. With 24x total zoom (HP Precision 3x optical lens and 8x digital zoom), the images captured can be clearly viewed on the large 5 cm LCD screen or printed and enlarged up to A4 photo size, without any loss of quality to the image. “ I love the In-camera Red-Eye Removal feature that allows quick adjustments of photos. I really enjoy this camera.”
