The Nikon Coolpix 2100 is a 2 megapixels lesser resolution digital camera but with powerful zoom capabilities. This is nice camera with great features and exposure options ergonomically designed for ease of use. It delivers images up to 1600 x 1200 pixels resolution. It comes with 3x zoom (36-108mm coverage)/4x digital zoom, a 1.5-inch-75,000 pixels color LCD panel with optical viewfinder, capability of video recording short clips at 15fps with MOV format, ISO speeds, CompactFlash Card Type I storage media, built-in flash, microphone and USB connectivity for Windows and Mac OSX, and powered by 2-AA Batteries or proprietary Lithium. This is recommended for beginners and entry level snapshooters.
