The Pentax Optio S40 is a 4 megapixel digital camera full range of features in a compact metal casing. It is capable of taking image quality at 2304 x 1728 resolution. This camera is about a size of a deck of cards and portable enough that you can slip through your pocket. The features include a 1.6 -inch 85,000 pixels LCD panel with optical viewfinder, 3x (35 - 105 mm) and 3x digital zoom lens with focal length of 5.8-17.4 mm, capable of movie clips - 320 x240 in AVI format, built-in flash, speaker microphone and tripod mount It is powered by 2 AA batteries that can last up to 500 pictures. This is a small camera with remarkable features at budget price.

Cons:

No memory card in box, shutter lag
