The Samsung DVD-HD841 DVD Player performs well, does not over heat like most other players do. “ It is the best DVD player I've owned.” It was easy to set up and it had such a great picture at 1080i to make my movies and cds also sound great. Features included are: It supports 720p/768p/1080i HD level picture quality. It has DVI Output, DVD-Audio & SACD playback, 192KHz/24bit Audio DAC, 6 Multichannel audio output, playback of Digital Audio (MP3) and Digital Picture (JPEG) in CD-R/RW. Plus it has letter box eliminator for easy viewing, 10 sec instant replay and instant skip, It plays: DVD-Video/DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+R/ DVD+RW/CD/CD-R/CD-RW/SVCD. You can get the best-looking picture with more TV types with the player's built-in "scaler". “ It can "up convert" DVD video to use more of your TV's HD capabilities. This I love using I recommend this player to the highest!”

It is inexpensive multi-format player, plays super-audio and DVD-audio discs.

Cons:

Remote problems.
