The Sony DAV-S500 System has Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic decoding, plays DVD Video discs, CD Audio, Super Audio CD (SACD), CD-R and CD-RW discs, VCD. There is also a tuner with 20 FM and 10 AM presets. features two slow motion speeds (Panasonic DVD players have five) and only three fast scan speeds (five for Panasonic). The system plays SACD discs and decodes Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic.

Pros:

Picture; sound; SACD replay; speakers size.

Cons:

Slow load speed
