The Sims for GameCube

The Sims for GameCube 1 Store Offers from $30-$30

Newbie Review by Kathy Swordson Newbie Product Reviewer:

Welcome to the world of The Sims. Get comfortable, because you won't be leaving for a while. This game is dangerously addicting. Make a person or an entire family, design a house for them to live in, find them a job, a spouse, a hobby. Even the more mundane aspects of daily life are covered, and for some reason, waiting for your sim to take a shower or wash the dishes still manages to be riveting. The constant challenge of keeping your sim happy and moving him up in the world somehow always keeps you coming back. The Sims is a hilarious and awesome game. Trust me, you'll like it.

Pros:

Virtually everything in your sim's life can be controlled. The graphics are good. The controls, while seemingly complex at first, soon seem like second-nature. Different career paths keep you motivated. Seemingly endless tasks to complete (the game is pretty much endless).

Cons:

Sometimes, after hours of play, you may find yourself screaming at your sim to do stuff faster!! But that's what the fast-forward button is for.
