This is a great radar detector for the price. The alerts are loud enough to hear over radio noise. It doesn't give off a lot of false alerts. It's durable and priced right. Different bands of radar have different alerts - it shows up both on the detector and they make different sounds. Overall, this is a good choice for commuters looking for dependable performance without a hefty price tag.
