The Sony STR-DE895 6.1 Channels Receiver features include: 5.1 and 6.1 Multi-channel Analog Inputs, a 32-bit DSP with 13 acoustic environments, Digital Cinema Sound EX, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, dts, dts-ES, dts: Neo6, Dolby Pro Logic, and Dolby Pro Logic II Decoding, this receiver breathes perfect performance. Also 6 Channel Power Rating - 110W X 6 (8 ohms 1 kHz, THD 0.7%), 2 Component Video Inputs, LCD Preprogrammed Learning Macro Remote Control, Front S-Video - Composite A/V - Optical Inputs.

Pros:

Great power, can be used with most audio formats.

Cons:

Lack of DVD optical input.
