The Sony DVD Remote Control 97076 (scph-10420) features: DVD remote allows users to play DVD movies through their PlayStation2. New DVD driver includes slow motion, chapter program, shuffle, and other viewing options. New buttons include Open/Close and Reset. Does not include IR receiver, which is needed by older PlayStation2 console models. Some PlayStation2 models require a memory card (sold separately) to store DVD driver info. DVD Remote has all the features of a standard controller plus enhanced DVD capabilities.

Pros:

This is an exceptional value.

Cons:

Pause is an unavailable feature on the vast majority of DVDs.
