Newbie Review by Kathy Swordson Newbie Product Reviewer:
I always thought of the original Harvest Moon as an RPG without combat. It was fun and addictive at first, but things got old after a while. Well, needless to say we've come a long way since the SNES and this game has evolved as well. There's a lot more to do on the farm these days and you can manage a lot of different aspects of your life. You can even make friends, get married, and raise a child. If you ever find yourself longing for a simpler time (or a game that manages to be fun even without fighting), this is it. I recommend this game because it is just plain quality RPG entertainment.
Pros: Soooo addictive. With all the different options of what you can raise on your farm and all the people to meet, you just want to keep playing. Graphics and sound are good, replayability is virtually endless, because even when you get tired of it, you eventually come back (there's no escaping). If you like sim games (or even if you don't), you'll find something about this game to love. |
Cons: Nothing that I can see. |
