Newbie Review by Kathy Swordson Newbie Product Reviewer:

Your TV and your Gameboy Advance never worked so well together as they do on Legend of Zelda: Four Swords. Grab up to four of your friends and prepare to be addicted as you both cooperate and compete for victory. Utilizing both the TV and the GBA in a cool new way, your view switches from the TV screen to the GBA whenever Link enters a cave or a dungeon. New moves and skills put a new spin on what can only be described as classic Legend of Zelda action. Not just another Zelda title like the ones on gameboy. Four Swords is more than enough to tide us over until the sequel to Wind Waker comes out. Styled almost exactly like A Link To The Past, Four Swords concentrates on two things: multiplayer team up and rupee collecting. It'll be some serious mayhem with your buddies when you try to balance the two out. The classic gameplay is here along with all your true blue favorites from the past zelda games. “ One of the funnest game of all time, you need 4 GBAs and cable in order for it to be that fun “.

Pros:

Four-player story mode is a fun combination of competition for items and cooperation to defeat enemies and clear obstacles. Single-player mode allows one person to command all four Links. Eight different worlds means plenty of gameplay and stuff to explore. High-resolution graphics are better than those you remember from the days of Super Nintendo. Veteran players will remember classic items from past Legend of Zelda games.

Cons:

It can be kind of inconvenient if you don't have four friends that own Game Boy Advance's.
